Our Story

Founded by Kawana Cannon, Trinity Strategic Consulting emerged from a passion for supporting mission-focused organizations with over 20 years of leadership experience. Kawana’s career includes managing a $3.6 million federal grant serving 64 Louisiana parishes, developing entrepreneurship training programs, and building nonprofit infrastructure across multiple sectors. These experiences shaped Trinity Strategic’s focus on delivering tailored, actionable consulting and training that addresses the unique challenges of growth, governance, funding, and operational compliance.

Our Mission

We partner with program-based nonprofits and service-based small businesses—typically in their third to fifth years of operation—to develop scalable programs, strengthen leadership boards, and improve operational systems. Through group advising, consulting, and training, we empower leaders to clarify their vision, secure sustainable funding, and build long-term organizational success.

Kawana Cannon

Meet Kawana Cannon, MSM

Founder, Trinity Strategic Consulting Group | Former VP, Louisiana Chamber Foundation

Kawana Cannon holds a Masters of Science in Management with a focus in finance from the University of Holy Cross and a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Phoenix. Her expertise spans nonprofit formation, grant compliance management, program development, and entrepreneurship training. She previously led federal grant programs impacting wide regions and has built dedicated support systems for numerous chambers of commerce. Kawana’s commitment is to empower mission-driven leaders with the tools and insights to fix their vision, fund their mission, and sustain lasting success.
